I have a couple of Panasonics, and they've served me well. Some models you can add a number of units that will all connect to the same base.
If you use or plan on using a wireless router, make sure that you go with a 5.8GHz wireless phone, to avoid interferences. |

Panasonic makes the best cordless phones, bar none. I have the 5.8GHz that can be expanded to 8 extra handsets.

Well I have to disagree. I have had both Panasonic and Uniden phones and they both sucked.
I guess by sucked I mean I would rather just use my cell phone

Yes - Panasonic makes some of the best cordless phones. A few features to look for include:
5.8GHz 2-line Expandable Headsets Caller ID/Call Wait Digital answering system Duel Keypads Speakerphone in base (once you have it you'll know why) http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs...00000000005702 |

Another vote for Panasonic. The Uniden is just OK. The Panasonic is nice.

We got Panasonic KX-TG5583 5.8 GHz model for the new joint here in FL;
we found a "blister pack" of three: base model and 2 handsets for $169 in Sam's of all places. I do not see them on current Sam's web site. Base and handsets made in Malaysia and "pkg" assembled in China, fwiw. I think Panys are very good...they can be found everywhere, and I'd rec'd shopping hard via ads/websites.
