hope they get the right guy,
Have you guys heard of the infamous "GERMAN" that is said to be handed the keys to the worlds best cars ,Exotic owners are said to yearn for his approval about their cars. This guy is Internationally known for this.!
Oh, and by the way they are on PCH North of Malibu Canyon.
There are plenty of straights to do 150mph or possibly 200+mph!

the cabin is intact for a carbon fiber shell and tub. the car did not crash above 130mph... i know that for a fact from seeing several crash videos of various race cars. the enzo in europe that crashed at 145 is in shreds.. literally the largest pieces was about a 2' x 4' chunk... and NO SURVIVORS. if that car hit a power pole at 150-200 MPH, the CF tub would have splintered and the people inside would be dead.

from what you see in the crash photos, you can tell that the enzo went airborne at the crest. driver freaked out, LIFTED off the gas as the car landed, car's tail came out and he slammed on the brakes. the skid marks weren't long, wide, or dark enough to be from a 150+ mph start. the car rotated twice and hit the the pole on its broadside where the car split in half.

everyone please stop the ridiculous story of the 200mph crash and save the hyperpole for fairy tales...

here's the story:

Someone finally spoke up. Knowing PCH, I knew there was NO way a car could get to 200 mph, let alone 150...

I did enjoy, though, the "200 mph crash."

I agree,!
the crash was around 120mph ,but on PCH above Malibu canyon you could easily do 150mph+.
I used to drive that at 85mph+ in my Pathfinder once a week, and people would fly by me doing at least 100mph if not more.
There are lots of straight on PCH above malibu canyon.
The news says that witnessess claim a mercedes SLR was the other car, and before the crash the cars were going much faster than when the impact happened.
These are from the news paper, not my opinion.
Beautiful how the engine seperated just like it was designed.I think ,That is the only reason this guy did not die.
