I thought it borrowed stuff from the M3 CSL. I know for sure its got its brakes. Perhaps it got some of it's engine refinements too...

funny how no one has mentioned that BMW borrowed the C5Z06 wheel style....
hmmmmmm, i guess everyone only gets bent when BMW gets copied (just picking a fight nothing personal ).

I also think it looks like a 1973 datsun 240Z
