Whistle Drive 55, TRY to stay alive!

In the US, there are some highways/freeways that still have the archaic 55 mph speed limit.....
So, does driving 55 mph, keep you safe and alive....hmmmm....check this experiment out....

Cool video. When I went to driving school 2 years ago, I heard someone tried this in the 405 but didn't pull it off quite as long as these guys did cause they didn't want to be victims of road rage.

Excellent!!!

Don't think it would work in the UK though. I value my car too much. Would just get rammed out of the way. Different in the States, I suppose - you have much tougher penelties for that kind of thing - "using a vehicle as a deadly weapon etc etc" = life in jail with no chance of parole!!

LOL, perfect!

Australian road law makers and some enforcers are Nazi's when it comes to speed enforcement!

Ever since they have been going "zero tolerance" on speed limit violations, the annual road toll has been going up year after year!

In 2004 they made millions of dollars nationally from a record number of speeding tickets, yet the road toll was like 18 higher in my state alone, than the year before! and last year they made almost half as much money, with more cameras and dedicated "cop cars" placed in "stratgic positions", which indicates Australians are "slowing down", yet the road toll was still higher than in 2005!

Speed enforcement Kills, but "they" won't admit it

One of the roads about 2 miles from my house has a posted speed of 65mph...there isn't a driver on that thing going 65mph. If you did go 65 you would probably get killed. I have seen cops cruise past at 80 with out even looking over.

In dubai you'd need to block the hard shoulders as well and then the grass and sand to the side of that. They'll overtake you anywhere they can. Traffic jams on the 3 lane highways become 6-7 lanes so quickly. Every spare bit of tarmac or sand becomes the road.

After seeing that demo, I can definitely see why road rage occurs.
