I helped investigate an accident similar to that involving a 3.5L Rover SDI. (Back in the UK.) We thought at first it had had a booby trap bomb put under the vehicle. Both occupants walked away. The 3 main parts of the vehicle were strewn over a 350 yead path from the point of impact. It hit a light pole at an estimated speed of 140 mph.

although it might seem like old news, I can't imagine anyone wrecking a $1M car. Something fishy w/ the whole story, if the passenger is found guilty he should be decapitated for wrecking such a fine piece of machinery...
