Best coupe under 50k... hmmmm....
The new GTR is god awful hideous and won't be under 50k. Good luck getting a new M3 under 50k, although I would certainly toss the e36 M3 in the mix. Infinity G35 has certainly been an eye catcher and all around fun coupe. I think the C5 vette can be had for under 50k, and a lot of magazines always claimed it to be the best bang for the buck. BUT, what kind of all-around coupe are we talking about?

Wish I'd bought a few cases.

Car-wise: a slightly used C5 Coupe or Z06 and,
one would have enough left over for a new UJM pocket rocket m'cycle
and insurance for both for a couple of years.

I guess a coupe does not have 4 doors? I'd have to throw in the CTS-V for that money. Stickers higher than 50, but can be had for right at or slightly under.

A car with two-doors may not be a coupe either.
"A closed car with two side doors and less than 33 cubic feet of rear interior volume, according to measurements based on SAE standard J1100. A two-door car is therefore not necessarily a coupe."
