what a shame... ford race designers build a car that can do 0.99 lateral g's on a 200' skid pad and this is what most owners end up doing... go straight when the car was designed to turn.. sigh...

well the good news is that the driver couldn't really go straight but still pulled off a 10.4.. LOL

he could have pulled low 9's if he had a better start... that's one hell of a nitrous shot to get to 10.4 and 144.

You're right though, shame that it's being dragged instead of "raced"

There has to more than just nitrous to drop 2 seconds off the GT's stock quarter mile time. I don't know much about the Ford GT engine other than it's somewhere around 500-550 HP? What else can be done to squeeze more power out of it?
