02 X5 4.4i vs 04 ML500 Comparison Coming Soon

Hey guys...I had promised a full review on the 04 ML500 that replaced the old 02 X5 4.4i. I've been busy, but now have enough data to compile such a review complete with pics and maybe sounds even.

Watch for it hopefully next week. In short, I am still extremely excited with the "move" to the "dark side" (Benz). There are evident issues which the X5 covered, but also various very cool features on this ML that you simply can't find in the X5.

An 2004 X5 4.8is vs. 2004 ML500 will be a better comparison. Pre-2004 X5 is lot different, and I am sure 2004 is a late in model for ML series, which means they had taken care of initial bugs. Post it anyway.

Why would I compare a 4.8is to an ML500? That's not fair - the 4.8is is more powerful and it's made to handle, whereas the ML is made for utility.

Anyway the feature-set of the 2004+ and pre-2004 model years were the same. Just the engine changed and the facelift happened. Anyway, I'm just comparing cars that I experienced. I am not a magazine that can hire any model and do a straight comparison.
