Get the car! It is easier to apologize than ask for permission.

They are lucky people to be buying my cars. I drive them hard. But they always look like they came off the show room floor that day. Plus i drive alot. I can easliy put 700 miles a week on a car. Aagin i would feel to guilty. Plus i do need awd for the winter. So my Mcars are garaged or in storage and i drive my regular bimmers everyday.
Want to sell any of your ///M cars?

exactly! there's still 23 more ft/lb of torque which does get you off the line faster to get away from the traffic!!

Torque gets you going, HP keeps you going and the hell if I'm going to let a coffee can Civic beat me off the line....

20k for 20 more lb/ft of torque? I'm sure a 545 with a supercharger can easily overcome that difference.

If I had an ///M car, I'd drive it everyday. You buy cars to enjoy them. You live once. Enjoy them. I had an E55 AMG, enjoyed every minute I drove it.
Although I'm on the young side here (29), I have a great appreciation for life and the fact that you never know when it's your turn to go. If you can afford it, do it. It's only a car. My step-father used to flip cars every 6-8 months (wow, now I know where I get it from), not cheap cars either, they were all MB's that cost at least 80K. Most were AMG's too. Anyway, he worked for them and enojyed them. He also died of a massive heart attack at 52. Did he get to take any of it with him? No. Did he enjoy driving each and every one of those cars? You bet.
Sorry for the long reply. Life is just too damn short not to enjoy what you can when you can.
Now, go get and ///M out of the garage and drive like you stole it!

You guys are right I should just start driving my M cars around every day. i keep telling myself that but i never do. Its like i feel guilty doing it. I have no idea why. Ive always been like that. I think its why i have not bought a ferrari yet. My dad had a ton of tem when i was growing up but i would be worried about driving it. My 99 m3 has 40k on it my 2001 M3 has 12k on it, my 2002 M5 has 22k on it. They are all perfect. Im not selling anything until the new M3 comes out though Which i am hoping will be early 2007.. then they are all going to be sold to make room for the new cars. one of which will be a new M5. the 2004 X5 only has 14k on it its my daily driver. But it anly has that low milaege because i still had my old suv which i recently sold so i was still driving that alot. It had almost 200k on it when i got rid of it.
