Junk faxes

There is the other spam. The Junk faxes!

is there any way to get rid of these?
There is a number to call on the bottom of every one to delete my number from their victim list, but i'm afraid that i will get more junk once i called that number. Any help will be appreciated

I put but my business fax line on the do not call list. It has helped quite a bit.

I used to receive several junk faxes, daily.

At the risk of receiving even more junk faxes, I elected to call the 800 number at the bottom of the junk faxes to have my fax number removed. For the most part, it's an automated deal requiring you to punch in your fax number.

I'm pleased to report that this actually worked, and drastically cut down on the number of junk faxes I receive. Occasionally, I'll still receive the rare junk fax (perhaps once or twice per month, at most), but certainly nothing like before.

This method also worked well for my neighbor in the office next door.

It's a bit of a PITA, but well worth the minimal time and effort involved, and the results obtained, imo.

Yes........put your # on the do not call list. It really helped me too. No more cruise & travel faxes and stock investing crap...........It works.

A friend of mine recieved incessant spam faxes despite doing the above.
So she decided to reply to their fax number with a stack of black paper with a post it saying "Remove my number (...-...-....) from your database immediately. If I recieve 1 more fax from your company, you will be reported for DNC violation."

She never heard or saw from them again!
"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" LOL.
Oh, an eFax # is awesome too.
