Pilot and Jeep Commander. Minor changes here and there. I am sure it also rides like a Jeep.

The GL is a stretched ML sharing 80% of its parts according to a preview in last month's C/D.

It's too big for me, but I like it.

Let's be honest, with SO many cars from SO many manufacturers, EVERY car is going to "look like" another car. There are only so many designs one can draw up for an SUV. It's not a bad car.

I just hope they keep our X unique. IMO it's the best looking one out there by far. After being on my 2nd, I still look at it and admire the lines. It was love at first sight and has not worn off yet. If they screw it up, I'll be very upset.

I thought it looked okay, kind of agressive front...but why do the wheels look like the stock 18's that came on my X5?

Most of them look alike except BMWs They still have there own identitiy. You really cant mistake any car for a bimmer. But i have mistaken MBs for many other cars

I dont what it is about these sloped rear windows..It takes away so much from the overall concept of a SUV..They all look like station wagons with an identity crisis...Maybe its a design thing that I dont get...But I would like to see a SUV with symmetrical window lines front and back...

Not too bad though...How comfy are Mercedes to drive by the way? Im getting old and I need a car that drives like my dad's 74 Lincoln Continental MK4..LOL..Funny even saying that..Of course it got 3 mpg, but damn was it comfy!!
