Yes, I get the colics... it's the most pain a man will ever feel, and second most painful experience a human will feel -- giving birth being the most painful. One of my wife's friend -- who has three kids -- also has an occasinal kidney stone. She says she'd much rather give birth any time rather than pass a kidney stone.

And, yes, I guess I have a small ureter... this would explain why I own an X5!

Damnnnn, MDK!

Your crummy year suggests you are long freakin
overdue for some Good Stuff!

Percs are a tad less Jonesish than Oxy...

Is there some cinematography site we can all
pound on to help you get a gig?

Good Luck, my Man!

Uncle Motor....I was on the percs right after my surg....Me like....and, unfortunately, no, there is really no place to shout out...my work comes from personal references and past accomplishments....I've spent an enormous amount of time on sets in my life...I'm thinking of something outside....I won't be making any decision until I hear that a new contract was officially ratified...If it does get ratified, I'll become a very small fish in a huge pond....It'll be this: My Master's degree, along with my union card and $2.25 will get me a small cafe latte at Starbucks...This is a classic case where apathy by 1 million IA members is going to cost 4500 people their careers...All because the newly offered contract is beneficial to them, and their classifications are not in jeopardy of being eliminated...So much for investing in a career....

MDK: Sad deal to read, but unfortunatley
becoming too commonplace these days...

I hear you on the small latte; like Dylan
wrote, "Twenty years of schoolin' and they
put you on the day shift..."

Hope it all gets clearer/better for you, my Friend.

Is there a link in the media as far as what is going on? Jobs going to Canada?

Just curious...I actually worked on a union set in Montana a while back. Steven Seagal flick. The ponytail daze. Back before Steve decided he'd go after the Michael Bolton and Yanni fan base.

This movie was so bad that hardly anybody showed up at the dailies. It was so bad it took like two years for them to go straight to video, even overseas.

Tough crew, too. One of the carpenters who was from Idaho had "Mighty Whitey" tattooed across his chest. Jest makin' conversation I asked, "gosh, where'd ya get that tattoo?"

"Prison". Alrighty then...

Sorry to hear about all that Mark. Hopefully you weren't in too much pain the other day when I came and got the sunshade and that you're feeling better now. And like what Carlos and Uncle Motor said, keep your head up cuz you're overdue for some good things to happen.

I know what a pain in the butt it is to get your identity stolen. I had mine stolen 2 years ago and found out about it last year. The creditors want a police report, but getting a cop to do report on identity theft when they have so many other crimes to worry about is worse than waiting to renew your license at the DMV w/o an appointment. They'll tell you they'll get to you in 2 hours and it ends up being 3 or 4. Let me know if you need me to look up any addresses the ID thieves used.
