Different IP Address in Router List?
I set static ip address, but when i go the client list in the router set-up it shows a different ip address for my comp. What gives?

Are you seeing something like 192.168.0.XXX? Those would be the IP address allocated by your router to each computer on your LAN and is separate from your static IP address that you set up with your internet service provider. If you look at your router setup menu, you should see your static IP address. Regards, Mike |

Everything is working fine. I'm just wondering why the local ip address in the client table is different from what I assigned it.

I dunno. I assigned my daughter's computer a static IP address so I could lock her off the LAN from wherever I'm at (daddy's no dummy). But her static address shows in my table.
