It is like round n round with this stuff....Ebay $500.00 for the boards NIB from a dealker out of Ohio, the DYI article, a rivit gun and about 5 hours of your time. Pepatrick has one hell of a right of write up on the DYI, but why does any of this matter? You should put the money into GOOGLE stock.

How they stand up to salt

They look good new but wonder how they would look after a few winters with salt and snow?

There are people around here who have had them for years with no issues, there are a couple posts regarding some discoloration, not sure if it has anything to do with snow/salt. Granted it's only been one winter, but mine are still looking like new. I'm sure keeping them clean would also help limit any effects of the snow/salt.

They are made out of aluminum. At the molecular level it repeals the building blocks for rust. It will however dull and you would need to use neverdull after a few winters.

Won't be needing never dull. It's a lease and goes back Jan '08 I guess that really qualifies as useless.

Just like Bodie Miller, but more dependable.
