Woke up, tired as usual, the electrical sockets in some of the house weren't working, my computer mouse died on me just now, and the worst part is that as I drove down the street from my house I noticed an odd "thumpa thumpa" noise. My passenger rear tire was flat as a 95 year old boobie.

Of course I have an early meeting today. Luckily I wasn't very far from home so I limped back on it and the sidewall looks okay despite being driven on it a little. I broke out the handy dandy 5 gallon air compressor and filled it back up to hear the unmistakable hiss of big ass nail in the tread.
I didn't want to take it to the tire shop for repairs on it leaking so much air so quickly. If it was a slower leak I would but it is hissing almost as loud as if I were letting air out of the valve stem. Nonetheless, I think it's something that can be repaired. I'm going to take that tire off and schlep it to the tire shop in another car. If it needs to be replaced, I don't know whether I'll be able to get a new tire right away as these Toyo Proxes seem to be somewhat hard to come by.
I hope today doesn't get any worse.
