Bizarro X5World

I see our favorite poster managed to jack a few threads with a few more pearls of Bizarro X5World wisdom. His universe is in reverse order.

I missed it due to business obligations. It's difficult to read threads on a cellphone. And I don't want to pull up X5world on my office PC. I might be tempted to read the latest WWW thread.

I hate it when work gets in the way of fun. But the threads were definitely entertaining. There were some briliant one-liners.

But at the same time, it is getting old, isnt it?

Bizarre

What is this group about mindless saying that every modification is great, send me a picture? What if someone decided that the metal disk (the brakes) interfered with the looks of the rims and took them off, should the reaction be that’s great send me a picture?

This country is based on free speech, yet just because I have a different view point I am interfering with your pursuit of modification?

I love my X5 and think that this group should welcome free speech and open discussion; however some of you think that is bizarre?

I am not against modification, I do think that you should consider the pros and con’s of what that modification results in, is that bizarre? I don’t think so!

Modifications I thinking of doing

Modifications I am thinking of doing

1. Adding trim ring s to the instrument panel
2. Adding a Ice system for my Ipod
3. Upgrading the sound system
4. Calibrating the speedo
5. Getting a V1 radar detector (not sure that’s a mod)
6. Wish I could mod the car so that the mirrors would swing in when I lock the car.

Any suggestions?

All of these are what I would consider to be "mods", and most (not sure I've seen 4 before) have been done at one point or another by other members here.

There are some that may think that, for example, adding the trim rings to the instrument panel is a stupid mod. It can void your cluster warranty and it adds no functional value to the vehicle. However, many, including myself, like the look and did it anyway. Other haven't. Neither is right and neither is wrong. It's a personal taste and preference thing, and there's no point in criticizing someone for doing it or not doing it.

Live and let mod, that's what I say

Yah but some people never learn.

All mod's are good no matter what.

I can do what I want, I don't care how it impact's others

If think I am understand now, you don't care about anyone but your self.

Is that what you think this group should stand for?

This reminds me of the episode of the Simpsons where they just keep electrocuting each other and they can't stop.
