well. when i got my car in aug 2004 it had 37K miles. now i too also have 87K miles. so that's about 30K/year on AVERAGE. I should say though lately i've been putting a lot less on the car. i ... think.

Joel, call the MTA on that one. You may want to drop your NH EZPass for a Maine one, which would essentially be the same, except you can get the commuter account on that one. You can also have a regular debit-style account on the same pass for use in other states (NH< MA< NY< etc.). I know out of staters can get a Maine EZPass. Residency is not a requirement.

i have put 16k+/yr on the X since I got it, although my daily commute is only 20 miles roundtrip (if I decide to go in). I guess all the miles come on the weekend when I'm off driving an hour to some golf course I have yet to play.

wow that's a ton of miles... I have about 18k on mine... in 3 years... fun spreading the miles between my car and the girlfriend's now that she has a nice car (Mini)

I'm thinking of getting a Maine EZPass in addition to the NH one. The only problem with dropping the NH one is that I go through the tolls in Hooksett, Bedford, and Hampton all the time, so I'd lose that discount. I'm going to call the MTA to find out first, though, if I can get a Maine plan on mine. Again, thanks for the idea!

I payed just under $50 to fill the 330 today in Wells, Maine.. Gas has gone up like 35 cents in a week!

Be careful. The problem with two EZPasses in the car is that both will register when you go through a toll, which means you'll get charged on both.

See if MTA has a solution for you. Good luck.
