Speaking of signals...is the little "downward peace sign" thing for Harley riders only or do other motorcyclists do that to each other, too?

Maybe I'm wrong, but i get the impression that BMW drivers don't feel Camaraderie with other BMW drivers. I have seen other X drivers but they pay no attention. Chrysler 300 drivers and others might nod, wave or whatever. But BMW drivers? I don't think so.

Actually quicksilver, I have to disagree: I find BMW drivers -- and X drivers -- tend to often give an understanding "smile" or "head nod" of hello when making eye contact.

One thing I *DO* always do ... I will *ALMOST ALWAYS* yield to ANY other BMW i see who's trying to make a left in front of me. Just cuz
