be careful what you wish for, us vette owners have "the wave" and to be honest, it's a pain in the ass. Once you start something like this the rules of etiquette are soon to follow and it completely ruins the whole idea (who waves first? the older car or the newer car? the older driver or younger driver? the guy with the most mods? the driver with the best paint job? why didn't that driver wave to me, is my car a p.o.s or is he just arrogant? ugh, that chick driving that c4 isn't very attractive, if i wave to her will she think i'm hitting on her, what if my wife sees me innocently wave to a female vetter driver? it's a bunch of b.s. that I never care about but others seem to obsess/stress over. if i see one more "save the wave" thread on z06vette.com or corvetteforum.com i might just have to sell my z to avoid the aggro.

Do yourselves a favor, just walk away from this idea, you don't know what you're getting yourselves into....

Between the cell phone, the iPod, the nav and who knows what else it's best we try to maximize the time that our hands are on the steering wheel and our eyes are on the road. My 0.02

Yah...I kind of noticed that too. Driver's in BMW cars tend to let me squeeze into their lane on the freeway.

I go through the same thing with the Bevo emblem on the back of my X. Half the time when someone honks at me, they're showing me the Hook 'Em Horns hand signal and not , I never know which one it'll be, it's damn confusing.

let's just all get xoutpost.com stickers with a sticker of our handle underneath...that way we know who's who and we can promote the website at the same time.
