Anybody following Pujols?

14 homers in 24 games. On a pace to hit 95 homeruns barring slumps and injuries. And doing it while passing all of his 'roids tests. I just love watching him hit - he's becoming the new Barry, where the pitchers are beginning to fear him.

This guy is a monster who may well own every batting and slugging record before his career is over.

I know this is a belated reply but "El Hombre" will go down in history as the best baseball player to ever play the game. They should rename my home town team as the St. Louis Albert's!!

I'd settle for just half of an Hombre. Our offense mainly Thurston, Ankiel, Duncan & Ludwick (a.k.a. the one year wonder) is just horrible.....

What a game yesterday! Thanks to Albert's 4th grand slam of the season. Why do pitchers keep pitching to this guy? It takes some balls to. In 2008, 54 strike outs out of 524 at bats. This guy is something else. I just hope the Cards will give him another long term deal when his contract expires in a couple of years. No "hometown discount" especially in this economy.
