I am NOW a member of that group. I totally forgot they were going to wash it when I dropped it off. It didn't need it.

OH No!! They didn't walk your X for damage before taking it in? Where I go they do that. And I walk with them, then walk it again before i leave the parking lot. Apparently someone jacked them up about damage in the past or they just decided to play it safe. I hope they own up to the damage.

It's deeeeeeep.

ugh! sorry to hear about the scratch and
other BS. it never crossed my mind to ask
the dealer not to wash my X. although,
after seeing this thread, i think i'll request
from now on that they don't wash it or at
least do what others have said; perform a
walk around. good luck getting it squared
away.

Wow - that's a real bummer Michelle. I'm sure they'll take care of it, but it's still a hassle, well, unless of course they give you a 650 convertable as a loaner...

They do the same where I go and mark any dings on teh diag they have. But you cannot mark swirls, before and after a bad wash. So, no car wash for me.

I just bought a new set from the same place on ebay to be safe. I can always sell them to someone if I have 2 sets. Hopefully they'll be here by next Thursday! It'll be close! I'm still going to try to get the ones out of the old cluster.
