OK, I must tell you first that I live in Italy, But I'm an Arizona native. I have seen more smart cars here than I can shake a stick at. I really hate them. They are ugly and are nothing more than a glorified rollerskate!! At least that is my opinion.

North of Texas, or the north of the UK?

Lots of Smart cars in Canada, particularly here in Vancouver. Most are Four Twos, Pulse or Cabriolet. I like them, myself. A little expensive, about $8000 CDN more than the Yaris, since they are usually very fully equipped. The price is the reason we got the Yaris instead for my daughter.

Hilarious. While examining the mangled mess the reporter remarks that it "still looks like a smart car". That's more than you could say for any passenger that might have been in it.
