My dealer had one last thursday it was the first one they got too. The buyer picked it up that night. Amazing car. I was a little surprised though when i watched 2 technicians. Leave with it and literally almost redline 2 gears down the street. IT di sound amazing though and took off like a bullet. I was there for another 45 minutes and they never came back with the car.

I never liked the 6 series, I love the looks but it seems well spartan for the price, anyone notice it has the same power seats as our X5's and no power fold-away our auto-dim mirrors *outside*, for the 70k price i'd expect em to use stuff from the 7 series parts bin, no the 3 and 5 series, anyone else feel this way?

IMO BMW has found a niche with the 6 series that works. Though I wouldn't pay that price for a coupe with moderate power numbers for the price tag, there are plenty of buyers. Props to BMW for seeing the market.

The 6 series has an interesting look which allows it to stick out from other BMWs while still have key BMW style hints.

Side note:
I'll be interested when the 335i comes out to see a 335 vs 650 race on the track...should be a dead heat if you look only at specs.

I did not notice and I would agree that they should pick from the upscale bins...maybe they spent all their budget on the c/f roof?

Jeessshh,
A Buck15 ish for the M6?!

That's nearly 2 yrs of living for me.

I love it, but hard to justify for the
ride to the county dump, the golf course
or, a couple shots back to NY/NJ per year.

This fixed income gig puts a different
perspective on "stuff"...especially expensive
stuff.

A hun-fifteen? Maybe not, then. You can get a lot of 911 for less.
