My X5

Hello All,

I haven't been very active on this board, post wise. However, this is the only forum I continue to visit.

Why am I not so active. Well, I gave my X5 to my mother about 9 months ago. I gave it to her because she needed a new vehicle and she wasn't in a position to purchase a new vehicle. She loves the X5 almost as much as I do and I wanted my mother to have a safe vehicle. I don't know any other vehicle thats is as safe, sporty and appealing as the X5. I also drive alot so I needed something with a little better gas mileage. I purchased a new TL in Jan 28 and I have 8500 miles on it.

The real reason for my post is about my driving experience back a few months ago. I was going snowboarding so I decided to use the X5 for the day. I traveled from Baltimore to Seven Springs. Part of the travel require a drive on the Penn Turnpike. This route takes me through a mountain with several inclines. I have driven this route in 3 different vehicles and I have to tell you the the X5 was the most exciting. There wasn't a time where the X struggled up the mountain. It had so much power that it just kept speeding up the mountain. At times I was hitting 90MPH up the mountain and it still had more to give. It also took the long curves so well. I was enjoying my self so much that I got a speeding ticket. I got busted for 84 in 65.

I'm sure I haven't said anything that all of you don't know yet. I just wanted to share my experience with you.

Have a good weekend and enjoy your X!

Getting the ticket wasn't fun.

I'm sure I will get another X. I'll have to see what the next generation brings us.
