Chavez? Yup...I guessed right. Selling jets to Iran is one thing. Getting them delivered quite another. Bet you Lloyd's of London will never insure the vessel that gets the transpo job. You would've had better odds on the Bismarck.

Kind of pathetic that this guy gets cheered by large crowds when he visits Britain, our closest ally in the world. Yet when our own president visits there, they have to put up baracades to hold back the thousands of protesters.
Do you think, perhaps, that the US Media could possibly be a bit biased in their news coverage of Chavez?? (sarcasm)

It's an empty threat. How long do you think the F-16's will remain operational in the hands of the Iranians without technical knowledge and parts?
I suspect Lockheed put some software/hardware on those planes that would allow the US to remotely disable the planes in some capacity. At least that's what I would do.

How about we let them sell the jets so long as we all get a piece of their Venezualan $0.12/gallon gasoline?
 I agree that it will be a challenge to get those jets to Iran and even if they did, there will not be any support for maintenance and training for their pilots. I also wholeheartedly agree that Chavez is nucking futs.
