Opinions on trip to Oregon

I've been planning for our trip to Oregon next month, and finally came up with an itinerary/plan for our 7 day trip. So those who live in that area or have been there, take a look, and see if there's something that's way too much to fit into one day and/or there's too much driving involved. Keep in mind, we don't want to spend all day driving, perhaps 4 hrs at a time tops.

Day One: coastal regions, Tillamook (and cheese factory), Cannon beach, possibly "coastal loop" north of Cannon Beach, back to Portland for the night.

Day Two: Portland, Columbia River gorge, Mt.Hood, then hotel in that area.

Day Three: Drive down to Smith Rock state park (near Bend, OR), Crater Lake, hotel in that area.

Day Four: Some more Crater Lake, drive up to Silver Falls state park, then Portland by nightfall.

Day Five: Portland, Mt St. Helens, Seattle

Day Six: Seattle, Portland

Day Seven: Downtown Portland

P.S- If there are any scenic routes along the way, let me know!

The Pacific Coast highway is one of the best drives in the country. I would start at Astoria (a quaint restored town) and do the entire coast, to California. It isn't a fast road, it is one to stop frequently and take photos, enjoy the experience. I have done it in 10 hours (with lots of side trips out to lighthouses, etc) but it is best done in more than one day.

See this link, and take a look at the various scenic drives listed in the drop-down menu. There are a lot of things to see inland as well, but to me, the coast highway is the best of all.
