ebay complaint..resolved?

So I guess as an ebay newbie, my faith has been somewhat restored in the "system"..In a recent thread, I wrote about being "jacked" by a seller on ebay for a jacket and t-shirt for around 90 bucks..

However, Im somewhat confused - three weeks after I made the complaint through paypal, the guy emailed me and said that he didnt send the jacket because the t-shirt I ordered wasnt in stock; so (for some reason) he thought it would be better to keep the jacket on hold for [almost two months] until the shirt came in..

Anyway, in that same email, which was two days ago, he said, he would go ahead and send the jacket off without the shirt. Fine, right? Well, Im not sure. About 10 minutes ago, I received this email from PayPal in my Yahoo account..So I guess the question is what, if anything, do I do now?

Dear Terrance L***,

We have concluded our investigation into your claim.

We have decided in your favor and have recovered funds from the seller.
We were able to recover $58.94 USD and this amount has been credited to
you. Please allow five business days for this adjustment to be posted.

If you are due any additional amount from the seller, we will make our
best
effort to recover the balance from the seller.


If the seller's account has insufficient funds to complete the refund
owed
to you, please be assured that we will take appropriate action against
the
seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's account
privileges.


I also got the same exact email, but for the $20 t-shirt as well...

I would guess that Paypal followed up with the vendor and the vendor has decided to cancel the purchase and give you a refund. Since he didn't bother contacting you about the delay I doubt he will contact you about the cancellation. Take your money and run.

Take the money- if they were only able to recover a fraction of your purchase price, it probably means the seller's PayPal acct. is seriously depleted. Couple that with the recent neg. feedbacks they got, it points to a larger issue and you're better off walking away
