i hear quite a few players from scotland play in the spl although i've never seen a spl game..i used to love to watch scotland play in the cup in the days of archie gemmil and john robertson . Remember gemmils goal against holland - best short player ever to play the game and far more integrity than maradonna.

It is a shame that the scots have to find a team other than england to root for - i think the media is partly to blame for this - just to much england fukn talk .

My favorite ever world cup goal . Michael owen against argentina although some of hollands goals in the 70's were pretty spectacular. England all they way for me even without rooney. if sven can teach gerrard, cole, lampard and beckham to trust each other defensively good things will happen.. i wish there was a way to raise ferdinands iQ a few notches

Unfortunately tho reality will set in and Germany ( who always advance waaaaaaaaaaay further than they should) as the hosts have a good chance.

The Reggae Boys are out...bummer! But I'm sure I'll find another team to support. Trinidad just might be it (my sister-in-law is from there).

well the best world cup goal I've seen would either be the Maradonna second goal agains't England in the "Hand of God Match" or the Brazillian goal in the last world cup where he lobbed the ball over Seaman.

I just can't support England sorry may be to do with the media I don't know maybe something to do with 1966.

aye archie gemmils goal was a good one.

I'll be paying as close attention as I can... Thankfully there are a lot of games being played at normal EST times and I have a DVR now makes watching the matches justa bit easier (needless to say I'll be supporting the USA team, once they're eliminated I'll see who is left and throw some support behind them...)
