She would then have to explain how she was a Senator for the great State of New York and accomplished absolutely NOTHING. I would love to watch her carpetbagging saggy ass crash and burn. Run, Rudy, Run

Hey, wait a minute.......... Let's bring back Ross Perot ?!?!?!?!? That guy entertained me more than any other presidential wannabe -- ever! If we can get 'ol Al Gore to help us with the Internet marketing (since he invented it) we have a sure-thing.

Here is the Washington Post and Los Angeles Times: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...052501884.html http://www.latimes.com/business/cust...business-enter What is interesting is how those 2 articles do not mention the Bush Administration propoganda pieces in the headline and only mention them when you read down to near the bottom. That is what you get with American media vs. unbias non-American media. I have to laugh when people say that the American media is anti-American, and that the media of our allies is also anti-American. It shows how extremely far out of the mainstream they are. There is a little "what if" example that puts things in perspective: In the closing days of WWII, a German newspaper prints that death camps were discovered by the invading Soviet Army, and an estimated 100,000 Jews were killed by the Nazis in these death camps. A leader of a Jewish group calls the article pro-Nazi propoganda and says that the 100,000 figure is far too low, and claims that the numbers reach into the many milllions. A Nazi leader calls the story anti-German propoganda and scolds the newspaper for printing such rediculous conspiracy theories about death camps which he says do not and have never existed. So here is the question. Is this newspaper pro-Nazi, anti-Nazi, or are they "fair and balanced"??? Next time you read a story about bad news in Iraq in the "liberal" media, keep this example in mind. You may think they are being anti-Bush or anti-American, but they are actually probably sugar coating the bad so it sounds less bad. If you don't think so, then try reading about the same story in an Asian, African, or European newspaper. |

I did everything BUT knock him. I do a lot of business with him and he's a smart business man. Politics wise though, he's a lot less savvy. BTW, so what's wrong with outsourcing? Outsourcing ONLY hurts the less skilled. For simple tasks, outsourcing companies such as TATA (1 of the biggest comglomerates in the world) does an awesome job a lot cheaper than workers in the US can. That leaves US workers to do a lot more of the complicated jobs. It IS a win/win situation except for the lazy. Again, business and econ 101 - comparative advantage.

Welcome to outsourcing 101: 1) Company X makes a deal with the Chinese government to open a factory and pay workers $5 per day to produce Widgets. This allows them to produce Widgets for $1 each. 2) When the Widgets are produced, they are put on a ship to be brought to the United States. 3) While in reality the Widgets go straight from China to the United States, on paper it looks quite different. 4) On paper, the Widgets are sold from Company X in China to Company Y which is located in the Kamen Islands. Company Y buys the Widgets for $1.25 each. 5) Company Y then sells the Widgets to Company Z in the United States for $9.75 each. The profits of $8.50 per Widget made by Company Y is tax free since the Kamen Islands have no corporate income tax. 6) Company Z (i.e. Wallmart) then sells the Widgets in stores for $10, profiting $0.25 per Widget. So for a summary of the taxes paid: Company X pays the Chinese government taxes on profits of $0.25 per Widget Company Y pays no taxes on profits of $8.50 per Widget because the Kamen Islands is tax free Company Z pays the United States government taxes on $0.25 per Widget. Company X, Y and Z are all subsidiaries of eachother. This wonderful operation which involves outsourcing jobs, paying foreign workers crap wages, and cheating both governments out of taxes, is only possible because of the wonderful "free trade" agreements courtesy of the World Trade Organization.
