this is gonna be interesting competitor to RS4 and new M3

http://www.caranddriver.com/carnews/...z-c63-amg.html

C class with the new 6.2l 500+ hp motor.. If this thing handles anything like the new SLKs, it's gonna be a beast. WOW!

AMG is definately winning the HP wars but i think the M3 will still be the best track car overall.

I don't know about that.. they tested the ML63 at Nurburgring and it matched the 997 C2S which means it would even kill the E46 m3 CSL.. and bear in mind... that's the ML63 which weights 5000lbs vs 3800lbs on the new C class.

That surprises me a lot... I have to agree w/ Tony on this, until I see the final production car tests.

hold on a sec. You are saying th ML63 the MB suv matched the 997c2s and beat the e46m3csl on the nurb. Was the ml a production model or a prototype for testing. I just cant believe it. It only ha 10lbs per hp and compared to the other cars your talking about its not enough. And its and suv. How could this be possible. Are you sure this ml63 isnt like that prototype V12 X5 that killed everthing on the Nurb a while back with hans stuck driving. Whew did you read this. I have to see it for myself. I just cant believe it.

I'm not disputing what you're saying, but man, that is just hard to fathom.

no kidding... ... I did read 1 caveat about the Nordsheifter time for the C2S that might put some sense into this. The C2S was tested in misty/drizzly weather... regardless though 8min 13 is damn fast.
