GM purchased DAEWOO (automobile div. only) few years back, you might still see some actual DAEWOO vehicles in GM clothes. The former president of the Daewoo conglomerate was in Exile for some kind of financial consipiracy now he's back in Korea doing his time.

Oh, Kia is bought by Hyundai while back now the chairman of the Hyundai Automobile is doing his time for bribery and financial conspiracy charges. However, Hyundai is making pretty darn good cars now according to JD Power Associates.

Not that I would ever buy Hyundai. Well I am knocking the wood.

Same in Bulgaria. We have plenty of Daewoos and several Chevys rebadged as Daewoos.
