I can barely hear the first ringtone if I crank it up and listen for it. My 7 year-old son can hear it clear as day. Amazing, I always thought my 36 year-old hearing was so sensitive.

I could hear it - sounds like a high pitched hum from a radio speaker and subtle enough to be background noise. I might use it on my phone to see how it affects anyone during meetings.
