Test drove the Q7 today

So I test drove a V8, non premium Q7 today with a sticker of 55,800 or something, both Chuck and I drove it since we both decided monday wasn't a working day for us *grin* (I worked all weekend on a presentation for tomorrow)

Exterior
-Front is nice
-Side is decent, color sensitive
-Rear, we just can't get, into it, I flat out hate it

Interior
-I love it, very very luxurious, love the mulitple choices of wood and Audi's MMI is much better then I-drive and has a much nicer looking interface
-4-zone climate control is nice but totally not worth 950.00
-Air conditioning really cooled the cabin fast
-Panoramic moonroof is nice but the sunshade is kinda see through so the cabin is never fully out of the sun kinda annoying
-Rear seat? Very uncomftorable and hard, headrests suck, I was not impressed, our rear seat is much better
-3rd row seat rattles
-front seats are very comftorable but the headrests suck and their 8-way power which is wierd because the Toureg is like 14-way powered and has power seat belts?

Drive
-Handles great, only slightly worse then our X5
-Brakes great
-Doesn't feel any bigger then my X5
-Servotronic rocks
-Backing up sucks because unless you get the extremely expensive technology package there is no park assist at all

Verdict
-Good car, rear end is ugly, interior very nice but has major quarks and overall the X5 is much better in current design and the redesign is sure to totally outrun it

Thanks for the review...I got to do a 100 miles of wet rainy interstate today and was again reminded of what a great ride the X5 is.
