UCrewX5 has disabled reputation
Sorry folks for the loss of the threads from earlier this morning. As was mentioned above, this morning the files for X5world were transfered from our former dedicated server in California to a new dedicated server in Texas. Through this transition a snapshot of the database was taken and ftp'd to the new server. In hindsight we probably should have disabled the ability for people to continue to post to the old site at that time. Lesson learned.

Once again, we extend our apologies for anthing lost from this morning.

Jeff

perhaps next time, we can do a mirror and fracture it after the migration is complete... would've been easier but no worries. Hope you had a good 4th.

LVGirl and QwkAg: Thanks for the
Chapelle clue...now, I get it.

I like him but, like most comic geniuses
he's out on the edge of the ledge, mentally.

UCrew...re: the new hookup and "lost posts":

As my old 300 lb Afro-American supervisor,
(when I worked nights at the GMC Truck & Coach
Assembly Plant in Pontiac, MI...summer of '66), used to
say, "Ain't No Biggie".

He was actually referencing "our craftsmanship" in
The Pit, where motors were dropped in and mated up
to the engine mounts...often, by the end of our shift
we would skip using the completely non-ergonomic, giant
compressed air impact wrench arm gizmos and we would
jes' give the engine mount bolts a twist with our calloused fingers.

Sometimes the motors "rocked" a bit, on final hot start, at
the end of the line.

The fooking UAW made us "join" their cult, but as
90 day wonders, most of us whom were departing at
summer's end, they simply collected dues from us
and hated our freakin guts.

I hope I can write Afro-American on the board.
