LCDs.....which ones to get?

Ok heres the deal.

We need another computer so ive decided to build a 4th computer and im gonan do chain so basically mine will go to my sis etc

so im looking to upgrade to lcds and well i like to alwasy get the best one and hopefully get a ok deal on it.

so i have been searching and i have these stipulations that they ahve to have....

1) I want to be able to play games and movies....so 8ms or less is the ideal response time

2) i want 19 or 20.1 but if its cheaper to get two 17s to get a nice large desktop area then that would be great also

3) and i would love for it to have dvi since the new vid card will have this

4) also the brightness should be atleast 300cd and the contrast ratio should be at least 600 but higher is better!

so from that i have narrowed it down to these 5 and thre is a 6th one but the reviews on it make me feel ify about it

here ill give a list tell me which one you would choose at least

For the $300 this one costs, get it. My wife bought two to run dual monitors but I stole one. It has all the specs you want and is a 20" widescreen. Gameplay is very good and looks great. It's an awesome price and it's from Costco. I have had good luck with Viewsonics and both of these that we bought had no dead pixels. A DVI cable was included as well.

Get two 19s. Thats what i currently have. I love the way I arrange the monitor. A light angle, not straight will make it look better and save some space on your desk. Let me take a picture of I while I am writing this to you.

I've read great review about the Viewsonic VX2025wm.
There's a huge thread here that talks about it:

When I upgrade my computer that's what I'll get (unles the price of the 23" have dropped by then)

The best LCD on the market (IMHO) is an Eizo.

You can find them for cheaper than CDW, but here's a link for reference.

After that, there are a slew of also-rans, I would get a Samsung or a Viewsonic probably.

Forget about widescreen LCDs - completely unpractical if you play any games (as you plan to do a little bit).

Check out Dell's 1907FP which has an 8ms response time and 700:1 contrast ratio.

Get two of those at a deal and you're good to go. Mind you, you'll need a management application if you want to play a game on one LCD and want to do something else on the other LCD at the same time. You need an app else you'll lose focus and the game will minimize.

But if you never game, you can just hook up both LCDs, and you're good to go. A few words of wisdome - if you're gonna do a dual LCD setup, don't hook one up through DVI and the other through RGB, because you will see that the RGB looks uglier.
