Were you actually serious about that? I've trapped for many years everything from weasels, mink, muskrats, fox, fisher, coyote, raccoons & beaver. (yeah, the furry kind) Another thing you could try is chicken leg bones. The coyote will eat them and they'll splinter in it's guts and eventually kill it maybe. It all depends on how well it was able to chew the bones. The best bet is the pellet gun (not "pallatte" gun whatever the hell that is). I have a 50 cal sniper rifle you could borrow but that might not go over too well in your liberal state eh!

Shooting any gun, including an airgun, in Cali. within city limits is pretty much illegal. Do it, and your nosey neighbors will probably call the cops and you'll get to spend $5,000+ trying not to go to jail. Call county animal control and report the problem. They will set up traps if needed, and you get to stay out of jail.

I have a bunny problem. If pallet guns are illegal in my liberal state. I am gonna have to join NRA with you.
Where do you think I could get silencer legally?
Do you think it could damage my landscaping?

A 647 grain Armor Piercing Incendiary (API) will do a fantastic job on a rabbit! You can shoot, gut & cook him at the same time! I load these rounds myself so if you need some let me know. When you shoot a gallon jug of water at 1000 yards there's an explosion downrange that's about as loud as what comes out of the barrel. It's really cool!

With a pellet gun, if the end of the barrel is inside of a window 3 feet or more the noise will be very low outside the window. Sure you can call an animal control specialist but that's not as much fun as maintaining our ancestral drive to kill something!!!

You might damage a signal lens on the Lexus. Put some bacon below your window and drop a rock on its head! Better yet, get one of those big fish nets and drop it on him from above like they do in the movies. Then go down and wrestle him into submission. But of course get this all on video!!!

I am just wondering what cooked coyotes and bunnies taste like. In generality, like chicken?

I am asking for good recipes. I haven't yet fired my new backyard BBQ yet.
Blond-d, assuming coyote is a canine family, you could consult to your Korean neighbors for cooking tips. It would be either spicy soup or steamed meat. As far as cooked rabbit concerned I need to locate my Bulgarian-Ex. I think it was a slow roast in the oven method. I'll bring a new meaning to Easter.
