Why don't they belong in public places, because as a society we deemed certain things as "private" long before any of us were born and breast feeding was one of those things. Like it or not, it's taboo to do in public.

Now if you don't care if it's taboo or not, fine, suit yourself. But don't complain when I squat and return last nights dinner to public nature while your drinking your latte.

btw, that magazine cover does not offend me in any way shape or harm.

If someone complains and says they get "grossed out" by seeing that, the ACLU, gay rights activists and so on would be all over it like white on rice. Why do we have to worry what everyone else thinks while others don't. You can't have it both ways.

I think discretion is appropriate in both situations. That said, my wife and I take our kids everywhere. If they needed to be fed (when they were breastfeeding), then she did so. Sometimes that needed to be in a public place, but with some modesty. She didn't just openly fling a boob out, she kept baby close and covered. Nothing wrong and nothing more natural than caring for your child. I agree with our Euro friends here, Americans are often too uptight on this topic. Society has made the right thing to do a disgusting thing. We need to grow up.
Thats completly fine, I just can't stand when people do it in such plain view, I find it gross, If you wife covers it up I couldn't care less and thats fine, as for my x husband and I lol I'm not a huge PDA person, I don't like making people feel uncomftorable we have done it sure and if someones a real dick i've been known to do it to piss em off BUT for the most part I am very respectful to people, on a side note I don't like PDA from anyone really gay or straight, just my 2 cents

I suppose I throw that word around a little to loosely, I can't stand kids, I don't like to be around them, they just irritate me. It doesn't mean I wish harm on them or am mean to them, but I choose to not be around children.

That is by far the stupidest thing you've ever said, there goes my opinion of you. What does not liking kids have to do with being gay, I know TONS of straight even married people who can't stand kids. Stop being an idiot and grow up.

It's not that.. It's just so many things. Like the fucking Lance Bass quote in your signature. God you're disgusting. And what makes you think I mind in the slightest that you have a bad opinion of me?

I think my lance bass quote is funny, grow up. As for kids which is what this topic was supposed to be about *hint hint* I just don't like them, your acting like I'm mean to them or wish them harm which couldn't be farther from the truth. I am very nice to kids, I don't like them but some of us can bite out lip and deal with it. I don't like kids and many people share my opinion so deal with it. Go attack someone else with your idiotic views.

I don't know how this thread went from breast feeding to gay bashing.
Bad form CJ.. Bad Form..

Not every gay man dislikes kids CJ, quite the contrary. Many are trying to adopt, foster, etc.

Many people might not agree with me on the breast feeding thing but lets not turn this into something else and start stereotyping people who live an alternative lifestyle..

and Blond is allowed to hate kids if he wants to.. It has nothing to do with his sexual preferance.. I hate cats..
