I met Mel, for 5 mins, in Tokyo, when he was humping a movie that opened there; he was cordial, "interested" and one of the coolest looking guys I've ever seen in person. I've been a long time fan of his stuff and style, even when it became semi-self parody. His politics/religion, I avoid commenting on. The CEO gets lathered by his pic. She jes' shook her head this eve, when we saw it on the talkingheads.

No biggie in the scheme of things. Just newsstuff from the RetiredBum.
