Chinese Beating 50,000 dogs to death

This is one of those things that just makes me want to stop buying anything made in China. They imprison their people, they are chewing up the rainforests of Indonesia, soon will be the largest consumer of high sulphur coal in the world, and now, in a crude panic arising from a rabies scare, they are beating dogs to death in front of their owners. Lovely stuff.

Pretty good point, A...
but, damn it is difficult to avoid the Made In China product...

When we were "outfitting"/buying crap for our Fla Seasonal
Starter Shack, we became, almost laugh out loud, amazed at
how nearly everything and, I mean nearly everything, was made in
was made in China.

And, to avoid busting the budget by simply shopping in the highest
end joints in Naples area, it was damn difficult to avoid that sticker,
made in China.

I kept track for awhile, but the list was short of non-China made goods:
our telephone sys., our Sony NoBaloney 60" LCoS TV, our DVD player,
our a/v receiver, a few furninture pieces, good knives, wine cooler,
sheets and that kinda stuff, and everything else was MIC.

Not to pick on WalMart, but they must have about a 75% ratio of MIC goods.
If China fell off the map, WallyWorld would close in a week when inventories dried up.

Not beating on China, and espc. its "people", but human rights are somewhere on
the 7th or 8th page of things to consider, there, imo.
Good Dig Out, by the bye...

If you were the CEO of the USA, I would suggest that we enact a flat tax and eliminate the employment tax and offer small businesses with less than 100 employees the opportunity to be preferred buyers of government securites which they could then collateralize as liquidity options. That, and I'd put the people who run the ticket and parking operations at Disney World in charge of screening, licensing, and monitoring guest workers so American business could have access to labor. For five years anything made in the USA would not be subject to sales or VAT tax.

Should stop buying MIC goods instead by MII(ndia).
Manufacturing concerned they have the cheapest and the most skilled workers who would work for nothing.
Note that there's virtually no environmental regulation in China. I was sicked by what they do to their own land after watching shows on TV. It will eventually come back and hunt us.

That does make me sick. If the government decided for some stupid reason that they are going to have to put all the dogs to sleep in that area at least do it humanely. If i saw someone on the street beating a dog like that your for damn sure i would go up to them and put that sme damn beating on there ass. You might think im an ass but i would rather see a human put to death than most animals. I dont agree with killing people at all but those dogs want nothing but love and companionship and as we all know dogs only want to make there owners happy.

I agree that China's got some f'ed up shit going on. But hey, if other people around the world watch animal planet's Animal Cop or whatever, the same shit is going on in the US, people beating/abusing/killing their dogs, cats, cocks, you name it... same difference so let's not be hypocritical here.

Not nearly to the same levels man. You couldn't find 50,000 dogs beaten to death with a stick around here.
