How many radical Islamicists are there? What number do you want to use?
Running with the two examples you offered, the entire population of
Lebanon and
Chechnya combined is about 5 million people. Let's assume the extreme - every single person in both regions is a terrorist. There are 1.3 billion Muslims worldwide. It's still a small segment of the population.
But that's not going to convince you, I don't think. Why don't you pick a number, and we can figure out what percentage of 1.3 billion it is?
