I say it's staged (and very badly staged at that) because he/they didn't react the way a normal person would react to something like this... or he's an idiot. Here's what I would do:
First of all, I would have been on my cell phone dialing 911 right after they first started "talking" to me after that U-turn. Second, the top on the Z4 would have come up instantly - anything between me and my potential attackers is better than nothing, even if it's a piece of rag. It also gives me the element of surprise. Third, I would never have let them stop right next to me at the light, stop sign, or whatever, especially considering the size difference of the cars - being in that Z4 makes you a very easy target. Fourth, you don't drive to a remote area of a park (or whatever it was) when being followed by two idiots; to the police station - yes; to a crowded mall parking lot - yes; to a gas station where there are cameras - yes; but not to an empty dead-end parking lot. Fifth, why the fuck would you let your wife (girlfriend, whatever) get out of the car and walk up to the guy to get the camera?!?! To make it easier for them to take her as a hostage? Or so that you could shoot her yourself with your own gun? And finally, where the hell did you learn to hold a gun like that? Oh, I know... that's how they do it in the movies!  . Coming from Bimmerfest, the agreement is that it's staged.
The reactions are unreal. If someone pointed a gun at my friend, I wouldn't be recording everyone's facial reaction close-up. I'd be dialing 911.
