https://www.cia.gov/cia/reports/iraq...ap2_annxF.html Annex F is titled "Iraqi Oil Smuggling" and presents evidence that Iraq violated the UN sanctions by illegally selling oil to other countries on the black market. No mention of WMDs in this section of the report.

Here is a good summary of the later of the two reports:
http://www.wmd.gov/report/report.html#chapter1 Extensive post-war investigations were carried out by the Iraq Survey Group (ISG). The ISG found no evidence that Iraq had tried to reconstitute its capability to produce nuclear weapons after 1991; no evidence of BW agent stockpiles or of mobile biological weapons production facilities; and no substantial chemical warfare (CW) stockpiles or credible indications that Baghdad had resumed production of CW after 1991. Just about the only thing that the Intelligence Community got right was its pre-war conclusion that Iraq had deployed missiles with ranges exceeding United Nations limitations. watch this video And this one What a liar

Volume 3 of the HTML Edition: Iraq's Chemical Weapons Program.
Click on Annex F: Detailed Preliminary Assessment of Chemical Weapons Findings Beginning in May 2004, ISG recovered a series of chemical weapons from Coalition military units and other sources. A total of 53 munitions have been recovered, all of which appear to have been part of pre-1991 Gulf war stocks based on their physical condition and residual components. The most interesting discovery has been a 152mm binary Sarin artillery projectile—containing a 40 percent concentration of Sarin—which insurgents attempted to use as an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The existence of this binary weapon not only raises questions about the number of viable chemical weapons remaining in Iraq and raises the possibility that a larger number of binary, long-lasting chemical weapons still exist. PS I'm leaving now.

I didn't know this particular information was declassified. I'm not saying there is but could there be more that's been found? If you "remember reading this stuff" why didn't you mention it??? Selective memory huh? I guess it would go against your liberal agenda. With you guys it's not important to reveal facts, it's only important to maintain continued bias only for political reasons. Can't downplay it Eric. 53 munitions when all along you liberals say there were NO WMD's in Iraq. "The most interesting discovery has been a 152mm binary Sarin artillery projectile—containing a 40 percent concentration of Sarin—which insurgents attempted to use as an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The liberal press has access to this info but for some reason you don't hear it on the news. Wonder why? 53 munitions containing Sarin. Hmmm, since you're downplaying so much it would you want that much Sarin in the hands of terrorists and released in your city? There are al-queda personnel in Iraq right now. Do you think they couldn't obtain sarin like this??? To handle it all you need is a gas mask and a rubber suit. If a common street insurgent can get it think al-queda can't? Do you know what that amount of sarin could do if released in a town? No, you don't. One of my main tasks in wartime is hazard prediction of NBC weapons. Trust me, it would be severe. From the munitions mentioned above this is the exact type used as the IED when the two EOD troops were exposed. It would be much easier for me to justify how insane your denial is if it wasn't for classification of information. There's a good reason for why information is classified and for right now you don't have a need to know.

Are you going to take the position that finding any chemical or biological weapons inside of a country means that the government of that country is responsible and therefore guilty of violating international law? We know that Iraq had chemical, biological and nuclear weapons programs prior to 1991. When you have large numbers of people working on such programs, you are bound to have some security breaches and you are also bound to have mistakes in your records. We found this out with regard to the Anthrax attacks in October 2001, as the investigators have confirmed the anthrax samples came from Ford Detrick. Does that mean that our government is in violation of international law and is stockpiling or producing anthrax? It could mean that. But without any evidence of that, it simply means that at some point in time long before we destroyed our stockpiles of anthrax, some could have been stolen -- a much more likely possibility. The conclusion that was reached with regard to Iraq is that those in charge of these WMD programs reported larger production numbers than what was actually being produced, perhaps in order to satisfy a ruthless government. They have found recordings of various cabinet meetings during the 1990s where Saddam and his advisors discuss that they have no more WMDs and they do not know what to do to satisfy the UN and get the sanctions removed. It is quite obvious that while dangerous, these small and isolated amounts of weapons that have been found had nothing to do with the Iraqi government, and the overthrow of that government has done nothing to lessen the risk of those samples finding their way in to the hands of extremists. If anything, there are far more extremists running around Iraq now than before 2003.
