I'll have to watch the rest of this later. But do y'all ever go to JiffyLubes, I would think not with any BMW? I learned my lesson on my old car when driving away I heard this scratching sound. Turns out they undid the front lower air damn, never put it back on, and it was left to scrape on the road.

I have fixed 2 friends striped oil pans from those joints. They will not change till they start to lose customers, most of those places around where I live have a line of cars waiting for service. They use really cheap filters that have blown apart and most do not have pressure relief valves like factory. The filters blow up like a balloon, I have seen them.

I've even heard of quick lube places even stealing airbags and other concealed pieces from customer vehicles in the past. Another reason to change your own oil.

My wife went to JiffyLub once several years ago for her car for the yearly car inspection. They told her that the oil looked very dirty and that she needed to get it changed as well as the air filter. She was a little bit surprised, as she knows that I am picky with car maintenance. I was traveling at that time and she could not get in contact with me so she got the job done. When she learnt from me later that I did change the air filter as well as the oil and oil filter only 2 weeks before myself she was really upset.

E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
Used them for my other car and they tried to sell me a number of useless service.

They are bad, and we should stay away.

Ditto in Maryland - my dad took his brand new (3000 mi) Camry to J-Lube and they neglected to put oil back in after draining it. Good thing the old man looks at his guages more often than he looks at the road. He caught it within 30 miles and that Toyota survived.
