This software doesn't hide your IP on your local network, it actually connects to an outside gateway. From there you go to xoutpost.com or any other web site. So the only thing your company sees is you going to the gateway even though you're surfing X5world. If one gateway becomes too slow (or blocked by your company), you can move to another one.

The target website (in this case x5world) doesn't see your original IP, it only sees you as coming from the gateway, thus the name "hide IP".

I'm not affiliated with whomever is making this software.
