But I'm all about an X5 meet at Laguna Seca.. I'll put mine through the corkscrew.

I know, I was just being silly. But honestly, it's always where my mind goes when I hear Laguna I still want to get the M3 out there for an open track day... and there will be an in car camera and lots of pics on that trip...

Also, in terms of an AC rebirth.. I doubt it will really happen. It will never become a "Vegas" east.
- I do remember Trump taking a stab at that over a decade ago, like he was going to revitalize the area. As I haven't been to AC in a decade or so, I can't tell you, but what happened with Taj Majal? That was supposed to be the "starting" point for the rebirth of AC. -- Didn't that hotel put Trump into financial ruins for years? Didn't he also try a Trump towers there?

-- Also, know that there are Indian Reservation gaming closer to NYC than AC, like Foxwoods, etc." It is highly unlikely that AC will become a destination.

First off, it's in a really bad neighborhood. It's very, very seedy. It's tooo easy to get to Vegas now. The only thing good that has ever come to AC is boxing. I don't think AC will ever attract a crowd other than the weekend gamblers destination for the NYC bridge and tunnel crowd.

But again, I haven't been there in 10 years so what do I know?

Actually, that is what I trying to say (in a PC way), that Pacific Ave. is cleaned up. They really have been cleaning up the surrounding neighborhood. I was very surprised. But, we'll see...still love Vegas!
