Also, in terms of an AC rebirth.. I doubt it will really happen. It will never become a "Vegas" east.
- I do remember Trump taking a stab at that over a decade ago, like he was going to revitalize the area. As I haven't been to AC in a decade or so, I can't tell you, but what happened with Taj Majal? That was supposed to be the "starting" point for the rebirth of AC. -- Didn't that hotel put Trump into financial ruins for years? Didn't he also try a Trump towers there? -- Also, know that there are Indian Reservation gaming closer to NYC than AC, like Foxwoods, etc." It is highly unlikely that AC will become a destination. First off, it's in a really bad neighborhood. It's very, very seedy. It's tooo easy to get to Vegas now. The only thing good that has ever come to AC is boxing. I don't think AC will ever attract a crowd other than the weekend gamblers destination for the NYC bridge and tunnel crowd. But again, I haven't been there in 10 years so what do I know? B

Actually, that is what I trying to say (in a PC way), that Pacific Ave. is cleaned up. They really have been cleaning up the surrounding neighborhood. I was very surprised. But, we'll see...still love Vegas!
