you assume that just because the yankees lost last night that a mets player would have helped them win, unfortunately, like most of your thinking on here, that logic is flawed. Rogers pitched the game of his career, it's as simple as that.

Have a nice day.

Rogers did well but that is not the whole story. What happened the previous game guess it was that pitchers night as well?

I hope the Mets do well tonight.

We should do a poll of Mets and Yank fans?

Dodgers and the Yankees are my 2 favorite teams....with Maddux on the mound hopefully the Dodgers can pull out 1 win but will be hard w/out Nomar in the lineup...

As for the Yankees yiiikkes!!!! It's becoming a pattern now, win the first game then lost 3 straight..I have no faith in any of the Yankees pitchers besides Wang & Rivera

I am a big fan of the Mets but would rather see the Yanks win unless they are playing the Mets.

You started talking about last night. I commented and gave a reason.

Do you now want to talk about game 2 or should I speak with your alter ego?

Steinbrenner for the past couple years has been focusing too much in the 1-9 lineup, this offseason he needs to rebuild the starting pitcher rotation....

R. Johnson needs to retire or maybe should convert to a closer, Wright can't handle the spotlight in NY and needs to get traded....in the end you win with pitching not an all-star batting lineup
