Face-lift Cayenne

Coming in spring 2007. The front has improved a bit but not feeling the rear.

I am not a fan.. If the X5 did not exist, I would probably be driving a pepper. But as long as BMW continues to roll out a product in SUV form that is better than Porsche, I am going to contiune to buy from BMW.

Woah! Man! My eyes hurt after seeing that. Sure the front isn't as bad as a Subaru Tribeca, but this thing has little visual appeal for such a highly engineered German auto. And that a$$...that really expensive, ugly a$$.

hm. i have to say i prefer the current look. those lights are too skinny looking for such a voluptuous body.

(1) wtf are they carrying in the rear of that porkchop? the rear suspension is REALLY compressed which is saying a lot since, like the x5, it's supposed to be air-adjusted to automatically remain level??

(2) to those of you who knock the pepper so much, have any of you actually driven one? i have to say, whereas the only one i drove -- aside from a BRIEF test drive in an S model when it first came out -- was the neutered 6-cylinder version, i found the interior and ride comfort WORLDS above the x5's ... i can only imagine how the Turbo and esp the Turbo S must feel. Granted, they're in a different price league to the x5 so i guess they BETTER be better ... but ... yeah so what do you think?

cayennes ALLLLLLLLLLWAYS seem to have waaaaaaaaaaay too skinny wheel/tire combos ... it's weird.

i dunno HOW the turbo S can corner so well with such skinny wheels.
