It's time for non radical Muslims to stand up to radical Muslims. It's not enough that they stand up to the press, they need to stand up to the people that share a similiar faith and that are smearing the religion for everyone else.

Even if there were a jew trying to kill Mel Gidson, You wouldn't hear about it at least in the US b/c mianstream media here is controlled by jewish lobbies.

Radicals are radicals and I don't think there anything that can be done to change their view, it's a lost cause. At least that's how I feel about them. Remember what happened in Algeria in the 90's. Radicals, especially muslim are nuts and not worthy of being called muslim because wherever they get their anger from is not in the coran. It's their personal beliefs and their everlasting quest for fame at any price that their base their ideologies on, not on the Coran.
Now I'll tell you this, I would be the first muslim to blame for not doing enough to stand up against these radicals but I just don't have the time or the motivation to do so because the real information on Islam is out there for everyone to gather and learn from. On my side what i can do is, talk to people like you and other mermbers of this forum to give you a different perspective on islam other than what the mianstream media has been showing.
