Yeah, your Tigers are certainly playing some good baseball. I don't think either the Mets of the Cards have the pitching to keep up with Detroit, either.

Congrats, Jeff, Detroiters, and Michiganites! Dave Dombrowski's done a really nice job of assembling a championship caliber team with a good combination of young players and veterans, all of whom are producing. And he did it without spending $198 million.

So what's it going to be? Tigers vs. the Cards?

Disappointed is all i can say for now.

I've been to a few walkoff HR post-season games, and there is nothing greater that you can witness in professional sports. It's hard to believe there have only been around 40 of them in baseball history.

The games I attended were:

1995 ALDS Game 2 - Jim Leyritz - 15th inning
1999 ALCS Game 1 - Bernie Williams - 10th inning
1999 World Series Game 3 - Chad Curtis - 10th inning
2001 ALCS Game 4 - Alfonso Soriano - 9th inning
