Thumbs up Scorsese's The Departed
Being a great fan of Martin Scorsese, I eagerly awaited the release of his latest movie, "The Departed" with high expectations considering the formidable ensemble cast of Nicholson, DiCaprio, Damon, Wahlberg, and Baldwin. For me, it was easily the best movie of 2006 that I've seen in a year that has been devoid of truly great movies. The acting was wonderful, the screenplay was wonderful, and I was thoroughly entertained for 2.5 hours. When the movie comes out on DVD, it's going into the DVD rack alongside Good Fellas and Casino.

Well with two little ones, the wife and I finally got a chance to get out and see The Departed...wow what a great movie! Jack was incredible as usual and Wahlberg was phenomenal.

I saw the movie. No doubt to was a great movie but I felt the plot was too complicated. I had to draw diagrams to clarify who's backstabbing whom.
I love the ending though.
